All in all, a good introductory article that lays out the concerns around crypto-currency. Key among them, the adoption of this as a currency by central banks. Right now, it is more of a speculative investment than a currency used as a medium for exchange of goods and services, but in future, things can change.

Flawed article. You have not spent enough time understanding what crypto is. For people who don’t know or understand what crypto is, this article may appeal.

A brilliant piece, explaining the craze about this new “Toy” that is determined to kill better angels in us.

When we live in times with many solutions and resources to make an equitable world for bottom 2/3rds of the world population, fraction of our population blessed with brilliance, ingenuity, creativity, money, privilege, and access, concentrate their attention to Cryptos?

I’m flummoxed! While irony has finally reached its pinnacle, morality’s extinction is complete!

I’m wondering how does a Crypto wealthy expert vacation (I’m not even suggesting permanently living) on a beautiful island that has limited electricity, connectivity, and modern amenities where folks exchange paper currency, goods, or services to live cooperatively.

Like other nouveau rich, these crypto gazzillionaires want to vacation on a pristine paradise by sailing in their yachts or planes?🤔

I’m not being sarcastic, I’m simply stating how many poor people live with profound joy even on one meal, a street light, small currency charge on a phone, 2 pairs of clothing, a bed sheet to cover at night, water to cook food, who savor a cup of coffee or tea imagining they are in heaven!

We simply have no will, guilt, or shame that our hand plays on future children of this beautiful planet!😭

I have high regards for you.

But this article is wrong on multiple counts. For better understanding, you can read "The Bitcoin Standard" or "The Internet of Money" free version (https://github.com/erangadbw/IoMv1/blob/master/chapters/en/master.asciidoc)

Not all coins use a fixed market cap. Some protocols burn coins to control inflation.

Your Blog is always welcomed and appreciated...but this one is flawed and deep ended ! I have been in Blockchain after retiring from Goldman Sachs for 2 decades. DeFi is the AI of the new world financial order and coupled with IOT it will free us from the shackles of Govt. Controls...no more printing Dollars & Rupees, or DeMo...we will control where we want to go...we may take an Uber/Ola/Yellow or Red....huge choice, so it's all up to us....:)
